Full Pre-Litigation Representation is the best pre-litigation, strategic service we offer. We have designed Full Representation to resolve disputes without going to court–while at the same time, preparing for court–but only if we have to.
WHY FULL REPRESENTATION?
Full Pre-litigation Representation is a service that we offer to help you with your disputes with your landlord. With this service, we take over the process completely, although we may give you some assignments. We review your documents, advise you, develop your customized strategy, gather evidence, and then execute on your behalf. This means that we communicate directly with your landlord to try to resolve the dispute, freeing you up to do other things that you would rather be doing.
It's important to note that this service is limited to three months, a successful settlement, or an impasse, whichever occurs first. This service does not include Court Representation.
THE PROCESS
Once you inform us that you're ready to proceed, we will send you an invoice and a retainer. Once you have signed the retainers and completed the payment, we will move to the next stage of the process.
The next step involves us sending you an interview to complete and requesting your documents or evidence. Once we receive these items from you, we may schedule a client conference, assign you homework, or start drafting your documents. In most cases, we prepare documents for you to send to your landlord and documents for us to send to your landlord. Why? Because if we need to go to court, you will be the witness who needs to testify that you sent the letter to the landlord. We also send a letter or notice to the landlord to let them know that you are serious and that we are willing to fight, if necessary.
CONCLUSION
